Hi guys, the auction just ended with a final bid of $5,600! When we combine the final auction price with the $1,500 donation Richard Surroz will make, we will have raised over $7,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Once again I’d like to thank all the sponsors that made this project happen and Richard Surroz for creating the system, driving it down to NVIDIA Headquarters, and for donating his CPU Magazine Mad Reader Mod winnings to LLS!

I’ve got great news to share – I’ve just been informed that the Ultimate Gaming PC that we put together is going to make it on the cover of CPU Magazine, the top computer hardware enthusiast publication in the US! The system will be featured in the January issue.
Best of all, Richard “Darth Beavis” Surroz will donate the $1,500 award for winning the “Mad Reader Mod” section directly to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!

Almost Ready for Auction

Richard Surroz dropped off the system at NVIDIA’s HQ earlier today and the only word I can think to describe it is incredible. The lighting, paint job, custom water cooling, hardware specs, and cabling are the best that I’ve ever seen. There are just a few minors things we need to finish and then we’ll launch the auction! Stay tuned.

Just got word from Richard “Darth Beavis” Surroz that the system is completed! Richard is going to be hand carrying the system from his home in Portland, Oregon to NVIDIA’s Headquarters in Santa Clara, California so that we can take some additional photos of the system and ship it directly to the winner of the auction.

So everyone has been asking when we’ll start the auction for the Ultimate Gaming System. We are going to put the auction up on eBay Tuesday, November 17th. Remember, 100% of the proceeds from the auction are going directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The auction is going to last 7 days and the price paid for the system will be completely tax deductible! The winning bidder will receive a tax receipt directly from Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Can’t wait for the auction to go live!!
