I’m proud to say that the motherboard we’ll be using for the system will be the ASUS Republic of Gamers Rampage II Gene X58. ASUS makes some of the world’s best motherboards and GPUs and I’d like to thank them for their support!

Just got word that both Intel and SilverStone will be donating some great hardware to the project!
Intel is sending over the fastest CPU in the world – the Core i7 975 Extreme Edition which retails for $1000.
SilverStone is sending over their DA1000 power supply which Outoftheboxmods.com will custom sleeve and Smooth Creations will custom paint. This is going to be one killer gaming rig! Big thanks to Intel and SilverStone for contributing to the project.

Just got word that one of my favorite memory companies is coming on board – and in addition to supplying 12GB of Ballistix Tracer DDR3 memory, Crucial will also provide two of their top of the line 256GB SSD hard drives for us to put in a RAID 0 configuration! Great news! Richard Surroz has confirmed that both Smooth Creations and Danger Den are on board with the project! Danger Den will be providing a complete water cooling system – including their new Black Ice SR1 Radiators and custom GPU and CPU waterblocks. Smooth Creations will give our system a world class custom NVIDIA themed paint job. Smooth Creations and Danger Den are staples of the computer enthusiast community and we are really happy to have them helping with this project!
